Workshop for doctoral students Introduction to academic writing and presentation skills

It is designed for graduate students who would like an introduction to the specifics of standard research papers and academic presentations, especially in science, engineering, and medicine. The workshop provides input, guidance, and useful tools, and raises awareness of appropriate language, content organization, and revision/correction skills. There will be opportunities to reinforce these skills in self-study assignments with feedback. In addition, you will be given access to the Language Center's e-learning modules.

The workshop takes place in cooperation with the Graduate Academy. For doctoral students with a membership in the Graduate Academy, the course fee can be covered upon request.
