Explanations and instructions (please read carefully)

We offer free courses to some students on the basis of agreements. If you belong to one of the following groups, you can register using this form.

  • Electrical Engineering (Master) (max. 2 courses)
  • Computational Science and Engineering (Master) (max. 2 courses)
  • Computer Science (Master) (max. 2 courses)
  • Physics (Master) (max. 1 course)
  • Informatics (Master) (max. 1 course)
  • Maritime Sustainable Engineering (Master) (max. 1 course)
  • Participant EM-Ship (max. 1 course)
  • Participant Double Degree La Plata (max. 1 course)
  • Erasmus student (Bachelor) (max. 1 course)
  • Erasmus student (Master) (max. 1 course)

Your eligibility for a course will be checked semi-automatically by our system and the study office. This process takes some time. Filling out and sending the form multiple times will not speed up the process. Providing false information will hinder your registration for a course and will result in longer application processing times.

However, we have reserved a larger number of places on the course for eligible persons, which cannot be allocated through our automatic booking system. So don't worry, when our booking system states, that the course is full, as long as the course can be selected in this form.

Additional information for ‘Course of choice’:

  • Online Courses: These courses will be taught online, but the exam will be held in person at Rostock University.

  • Placement test result or name and grade of your last course: If you have already successfully taken a course with us (final grade of 4.0 or better), please indicate the name of the course and your final grade in the field below. Otherwise, please indicate the score of the placement test you have just taken. If you skipped the placement test, please use this link to take it. Placement tests are only valid for the current semester.
