Exemption from course fees

Students are exempt from payment of fees if they take language courses as an obligatory or optional subject in accordance with the study regulations of their chosen undergraduate course. Exemption is only granted upon written application and upon presentation of a current certificate of enrolment (stating the course of studies and, if applicable, the subjects) at the Student Office of the Language Centre.  You must submit the exemption application document “Antrag auf Entgeltbefreiung”.  (See below)

Important note:

Exemption from fees can only be claimed in accordance with the requirements of the study regulations for language training (hours, language, degree to be obtained and, if applicable, subject orientation).

There is no exemption from the usage fees for e-learning modules from external providers that are used within the framework of the course.

We expressly point out that non-payment of course fees without an application for exemption from fees results in automatic cancellation of the registration.
